strawberry picking

We went strawberry picking at one of those 'make the city people pay a ridiculous amount of money to pretend to farm' farms. Joe took pictures. In other farming news, the kids and I took out the rest of the spring vegetables today. To all you doubters out there: my garden cover protected the vegetables from all but insects. Anne: 1, Rabbit: 0. That said, there is a squirrel who I am keeping my eye on. He has a taste for corn.

What a fun family activity. It probably would be cheaper to buy the strawberries in the store, but the memory of harvesting will be stored forever! Love, Mom

Most everything in KY has a taste for corn, one way or another. Ever notice that? LOL.
