fall foliage festival

this is the latest sweater i knit for eliot. my friend lamar dyed the yarn for it for me and named it 'jude' after eliot

today we celebrated autumn by going to the foliage festival. I also made a squash, apple, cheddar and onion quiche for dinner. the leaves aren't at their peak yet, so perhaps a few more pictures will come another day. (as you all know its feast or famine on this blog lol)

News and Updates

Sorry it's been so long since our last post. Things have been busy around here! No real news, just doing our best to keep up with day-to-day affairs.

Today we went to the Boston Folk Festival. It was raining all morning and the event was supposed to be moved indoors for inclement weather, but for some reason it was outdoors anyway. So we went home and got raincoats and a tent. Fortunately, by the time we got back to the festival, the rain had stopped, and it stayed dry all afternoon. (Although the sky was very overcast, and the wind was cool and gusty.) The music was nice, and James had fun running around the field. Here are a few pictures of our day. (We didn't get many pictures because cameras were technically prohibited, because they didn't want people recording the performances.)

This is Eliot relaxing in our tent:

And here is James. It's possible he was roaring. I'm not really sure.

Here are a few other photos from the last month or so (in no particular order):
