hey, Zeus! I am tired!

I spent the last week camping with my friend Ellie and her three boys in Asheville, NC. We had a fantastic trip, with lots of walking in the woods, swimming in the lake, a jaunt to town, and a trip to Biltmore. You can thank Ellie for most of these pictures :)

strawberry picking

We went strawberry picking at one of those 'make the city people pay a ridiculous amount of money to pretend to farm' farms. Joe took pictures. In other farming news, the kids and I took out the rest of the spring vegetables today. To all you doubters out there: my garden cover protected the vegetables from all but insects. Anne: 1, Rabbit: 0. That said, there is a squirrel who I am keeping my eye on. He has a taste for corn.
