James' birthday party

I will be thw first to admit that I am lame. We got a cake (vegan chocolate), had over his friend Seth (and parents), and went to play at the arboretum. The highlights of the trip were 1. catching a toad 2. somersaults in the grass 3. throwing stones down a grate and 4. throwing grass at each other yelling "ACH-OO!". What can I say, children are strange. Here are a few pictures of James, Seth, and one of my dad.

Seth is cute, Anne. Where do you find these friends? But the one with the fork coming out of Mr. Trey's mouth is priceless! What expression in this kid! How do you stand up under that charm?!!

And is it wise to have your father teaching your pups his tricks?~~!!!
Oh, boy.

So cute... and I love to finally see the infamous Seth!
This was our first year that the birthday was more than meeting friends at a park or having them at our house.

Frog catching pictures were captured by your Dad so maybe you'd like to share that for all to see. Love, Mom

How can the party be "lame" when the birthday boy and his guest had such a good time.

Thanks for sharing the photos and moments.
