can you stand it?

He is just such a great baby. And I say that totally objectively.

We went and visited my Aunt Jill, Uncle Scott and Cortney on Monday. It was really nice to see them.

He has recently learned how to stick out his tongue, which he finds quite amusing, especially if it is windy outside. He is starting to get a bit frustrated that he cannot move around, which will likely be the impetus to us baby proofing. It was nice while it lasted!

James really has an affinity for music. He shakes his maracas and rattle
in time to whatever music we are playing, and has started to sing. At
this point he sounds more like a mermaid than anything, but he raises
one hand and has such a serious look on his face (and such a high
pitch) he reminds me of an opera singer. High comedy I tell you. High
comedy. Even better when the dogs join in. And the birds.

What I think is the best about James is that I honestly believe in all his "seriousness" and playfullness, he is mocking the rest of us. If we only knew. He is above and beyond, and completely irresistible!

He is the sweetest most angelic baby boy around.

James will undoubtedly want to learn more about music as he grows; it's great to have that knowledge for peace and enjoyment; you can already tell that he's learned that music is joyful! Turn around and before you know it, your violin will put to use once again.

We all enjoyed the visit with you and James Anne, thanks so much for the jaunt to Newburyport as well, I enjoyed watching James catch the air with his tongue as well.
