bourbon festival

Now, now before you get cranky with me about bringing the kids, they had a fantastic play area that we had to drag the kids away from crying (granted, they bounced and slid themselves into exhaustion).

Plus, they ate some pancakes with (bourbon) butter and (bourbon) syrup.

They even rode a 'Wild Turkey',

and were educated in the art of barrel making.

Now, it wasn't all for the kids,
1792 bourbon on the rocks as I drank a lovely 1792 on the rocks, but I think we can fairly call this a family day.

Now that is making the most of where you are living! Everyone seemed to have a good time.

Glad for you,
Aunt Betsy and Uncle Mark

Indeed it was a family day! Isn't it wonderful to live in KY and enjoy the culture? Good for you!

Isn't that a fruit-fly on the rim of your glass?
