Update

Eliot is three weeks old today and continues to do well. He seems to be over his cold (as are Anne and James), and he's started sleeping a bit better since his nose cleared. He does seem strongly to prefer being held to being put down anywhere, but who can blame him?

James recently finds it very funny to make up words. He's always asking "Where are you going, Bop?" or "Where are you going, Tweedle-Wa-Wa-Wa?" and laughing hysterically. He also likes to make up verses to "Old McDonald", such as "Old McDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O, and on that farm there was a shoopy, E-I-E-I-O. With a gwop-gwop here and gwop-gwop there..."

We also converted James' bed from a crib to a toddler bed today, so now he can get in and out all by himself. He seems to like it.

Here are a few recent pictures:

So cute! What a smart boy, you have... thinking outside the box already. I too find it hysterical when the shoopy gwop-gwops.

That bed looks mighty comfortable! Freedom to get in and out for a two year old is a great discovery. These pictures of the boys touch our hearts. Many thanks for keeping us updated with these snapshots of "our treasures." Love, Grammy and Poppy

Double ditto on anonymous! Especially the parts about keeping us updated on our treasures!

Elliot seems very, very alert.
