evidence:
He is so rarely still. I have a very fast shutter speed. It's kind of impressive.
I have the week off of work, so I have been very productive with the crafting. I finished this sweater last night (Mosaic Moon, BFL Dragon's Lair). The kids are both sick with what can only be described as the Cold of Doom. Finally, in awesome news, THUNDERSNOW has been predicted weather-wise tomorrow. My excitement is difficult to contain. (For the record, I am also very rarely still. I tend to be multitasking to the n-th degree, and when I am sitting I tend to fidget if I am not knitting. Genetics are awesome.)
Here is a picture that I am fairly sure I will get roasted alive for showing the public. I cannot resist. It is cracking me up.

feathered family
I haven't posted pictures of our other household companions in a while.
Here is Abby, aged 8
Penelope, aged 9
and our houseguest, Sylvester, aged 20-something (some of you will recognize Sylvester, he has been in my family his whole life)
Maddie (4) looking a bit peevish at me ("Must you photograph me AGAIN? Oh, what I endure")
And Gabe (nearly 14), blind in one eye, nearly deaf, and sweet as can be
